Dr. Valerie Moulds, OD is an Optometrist in Central Florida and has over 25 years of experience in the medical field. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University medical school in 1997 and focuses on primary care optometry for all ages.

Education

Dr. Moulds majored in Microbiology at the University of Central Florida and received her Bachelor of Science from Nova Southeastern University, as well as her Doctor of Optometry degree. She studied pediatric vision therapy at Nova Southeastern University, and is certified by the Brilliant Futures Myopia Management Program to fit MiSight contact lenses. Her externships included the Bay Pines VA Hospital and the well-known Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

Dr. Moulds is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Arizona Optometric Association. She is certified by the Florida State Board of Optometry, the Arizona Board of Optometry, and has her systemic medication certification.

Dr. Moulds was born in Bartow, FL and she grew up in Highlands County, FL. She and her husband, Rob,  have three children Caitlyn, Rowan and Reeve. She enjoys horseback riding, exercising, and spending time with her family.
